Blanchet House workplace giving programs are designed to bring people together to provide aid and hope for our neighbors in need.
Good for your employees, your business, and your community!
Workplace giving can be led by upper management or any individual wanting to help people experiencing homelessness in Portland. We invite any organization, from small businesses to larger corporations, to join us on our mission.
Choose a Program
We offer several off-site volunteer opportunities all of which are a great way to get your entire team involved in a service project.
Make Care Kits
Pack care kits containing essential survival items like socks, toiletries, rain ponchos, hand warmers and snacks.
Please review our Care Kit How-To Page for more information.
We accept donations Mon-Sat from 8-10:30 am and 1:30-4 pm. Email us at email@example.com to schedule your drop-off.
We can host a group of employees on-site during one of our regular volunteer shifts. Right now we are limiting groups to five people, making this is a great option for small teams or departments within your company.
Review our volunteer handbook to learn more about the on-site volunteering requirements. The group leader can email firstname.lastname@example.org to get on our calendar. Please submit your request at least 1 month in advance.
Take advantage of your organization’s matched volunteer hours by serving on-site. We have several 2-3 hour on-site volunteer shifts available Monday-Saturday. Visit our volunteer sign-up for more info.
Be sure to review your company’s paid volunteer guidelines prior to signing up and to complete any documentation required by your employer.
We rely on business and individual donors to operate. Your financial support makes a powerful difference to the individuals who depend on our meal, clothing, and shelter services.
Host a Fundraiser
Organize a Blanchet House specific fundraiser or incorporate a fundraiser into one of your organization’s events.
