Workplace Giving and Employee Service Opportunities

Blanchet House workplace giving programs are designed to bring people together to provide aid and hope for our neighbors in need. Workplace giving can be led by upper management or any individual wanting to help people experiencing homelessness in Portland. We invite any organization, from small businesses to larger corporations, to join us on our mission.

Group Volunteering

We can host a group of employees on-site during one of our regular volunteer shifts. Right now we are limiting groups to seven people, making this is a great option for small teams or departments within your company.

Review our volunteer handbook to learn more about the on-site volunteering requirements. The group leader can sign themselves and up to six others using our online scheduler.

Paid Volunteer Hours

Take advantage of your organization’s matched volunteer hours by serving on-site. We have several 2-3 hour on-site volunteer shifts available Monday-Saturday. Visit our volunteer sign-up for more info.

Be sure to review your company’s paid volunteer guidelines prior to signing up and to complete any documentation required by your employer.

We offer several off-site volunteer opportunities all of which are a great way to get your entire team involved in a service project.

Sack Lunch Drive

Prepare up to 100 sack lunches at a location of your choice and drop them off at Blanchet House. Learn more and sign up here.
