Todd Wright

Todd Wright is a Peer Support Specialist with the Mental Health & Addiction Association of Oregon and stationed at Blanchet House. He moved to Portland from Brooklyn, NY in 2020 to be closer to the majestic nature of the Pacific Northwest. After 15 years in the service industry as a bartender, he wanted to be of more service to people, specifically people in underserved communities and those in recovery.

“A biography on St. Francis inspired my interest in the houseless population, and I am pleased to have found my way to the Blanchet House,” Todd says. “As a peer support specialist, I consider myself a traveling companion of sorts. I am here to be with and walk with participants in their journey, wherever that may be.”
