Emily Harrington

Emily Harrington, RN, PMHNP, served on the board from 2014-2023 in various roles including president from 2018-2020. Emily brought a strong background in healthcare to the position. She worked as a nurse in the Providence Health system after receiving her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Portland and a Master’s in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Practice from Gonzaga University.

“I believe our organization is called to do more than just feed our guests, but rather to find creative ways to heal them both physically and mentally,” she says.

Emily’s history with Blanchet House goes back to her days serving as a volunteer from Catholic Central High School where she met her husband, Joey Harrington. The Harrington’s have two sons, aged 9 and 12.
