Where to Eat for Free on Christmas Day

There are several places in Portland that are offering FREE hot meals on Christmas Day. All meals are served takeout-style during the COVID-19 pandemic and everyone is welcome. Please check with the organization to find out what types of food they will be serving.

Please note: Blanchet House does not serve meals on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day so that our shelter residents can enjoy a day of rest.

Salvation Army Female Emergency Shelter (SAFES)

Where to Volunteer

If you would like to volunteer at Blanchet House sign up here. Blanchet House is open Mon-Sat, except for New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We are open all other holidays.
