The woodshop at Blanchet Farm offers a place to create, learn, and heal.

Participants in the farm’s addiction recovery program have the opportunity to explore the craft of woodworking.

For many participants, crafting in the woodshop is therapeutic. Woodworking helps to reduce stress, improve focus and concentration, boost self-confidence, and provide a sense of accomplishment.

Every finished project reflects the craftsmanship and growth of the person who made it.

Beyond the Farm

Blanchet House

The wood stools used by diners visiting Blanchet House’s cafe are built in the woodshop. The unique backless easy-to-move design was inspired by a cow milking stool.

Bethanie’s Room

The intake tables at Bethanie’s Room, Blanchet’s emergency overnight shelter for women, were crafted in the farm’s woodshop.
