Volunteers

Blanchet House is able to offer food and shelter to Portland’s homeless community at no cost to our guests whatsoever. We would not be able to do this without your help! Blanchet House depends to a great extent on the generosity of individual volunteers and groups. Some non-resident volunteers have consisted of middle school, high school, church groups, college students, seminarians, nurses, and the general lay public who are donating much of their spare time.

The Blanchet organization is deeply grateful for as much, or as little, time as you are able to contribute. Please know that you are helping to provide much more than just physical things like food and shelter — you’re helping to provide HOPE!
